COP 19 gets down to business

The discussion is another UN-sponsored event on the subject held in Poland after the 14th such international meeting held in Poznan, back in 2008.

Jaroslaw Kociszewski from Polish Radio's international affairs desk was interviewed by thenews.pl's Peter Gentle about the importance and scope of the present Warsaw-hosted event.

“It is a PR exercise, no doubt about that. And also a possibility to lobby some important people, because we have to remember that this conference is designed not really to sign agreements but to work on papers which are going to be signed in the future,” Kociszewski points out.
