One of the founders of the Polish rock scene, Marek Jackowski, died Saturday of a heart attack at the age of 66.

Guitarist Marek Jackowski, co-founded the legendary Polish rock band Maanam in 1975. The group topped the Polish music charts in the 1980's, in addition to winning numerous awards, winning over the hearts of Poles.
