Polish kids 'least happy'?

UNICEF has ranked Polish children as among the "least happy in Europe" in a recent survey of 29 countries.

The report presented in Warsaw took a closer look at the quality of life of the children in Poland in five key areas: economic conditions, health and safety, education, behaviors and risks as well as living conditions.
According to Ewa Falkowska from UNICEF Polska, this country achieved the best results when taking into account access to education. It performed much worse when taking a look at the living conditions of the Polish children in comparison with those in more developed countries.
"What we have observed analysing the UNICEF report is that the percentage of children In Poland who are smoking, drinking alcohol and using drugs has decreased which is extremely important as far as the future physical condition of our society is concerned" Falkowska said.
27 European countries alongside Canada and the USA, only Romania has more dissatisfied children than Poland.
