The humility of newly elected Pope Francis I has been an attraction for the 1.2 billion Catholics around the world.
Among the hundreds of thousands of pilgrims who traveled to the Vatican, Polish pilgrims observed the new leader of the Catholic Church as friendly and open. Faithful followers have initially warmed up to the 76-year-old, non-European, Jesuit priest.
Will these first impressions be lasting in Poland?
