Kamil Stoch has emerged from Adam Malysz's shadow to take world ski jump title - he soared to victory in Val di Fiemme winning a gold medal for Poland in the men's large hill event at the 2013 Nordic World Ski Championships.

Over 300 judoka from 39 countries competed in Warsaw in the prestigious European Judo Open. Among them was the 28-strong squad from Poland. The event, held at the capital's Ursynow Arena, was one of the final tests for the athletes before the European Championships in April in Budapest.
