Twenty five thousand particiated in the survey entitled "Attitudes of Europeans Towards Air Quality" with almost four out of five believing that the EU should propose additional measures to address air pollution in the bloc.

The spokesman of Poland's Environment Ministry agrees that pollution is a big problem for the whole EU, not only Poland to tackle. "Poland implemented the Clean Air for Europe Directive. Right now the government is at the final stage of implementing Industrial Emissions Directive which will change air protection rules from 2016 in the European Union. It's a very complex matter and it's not easy to find a quick solution to help our air condition" said Pawel Mikusek.
