Local governments in Poland are seeking much needed revenue from the sale of public property, including entire villages or even islands.
"Rogozka is our top property for sale for the past three years. The village has been empty ever since its small population of marble mine workers abandoned their houses in the late Sixties and we're looking for a developer to bring new life to the place," says Monika Cieslowska from the Promotion and Development Bureau of Stronie Slaskie in Lower Silesia.
