Poland welcomed the decision of the European Commission to launch an anti-trust probe against Russian energy giant Gazprom. Will the move affect gas prices in Europe this winter?

A two-day conference "Jobs for Europe" organised by the European Commission took place in Brussels. "The figures speak for themselves - within the EU more than 25 million persons are unemployed," president of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy, told the attendees.
