Interviewed for Polish Radio in 1992, British musicologist Adrian Thomas talks about the life and work of Andrzej Panufnik.

Born in Warsaw in 1914, Panufnik emigrated to Britain in 1954 and spent the rest of his life in the UK, developing a fine career as a conductor and, first and foremost, composer. He died in 1991.
