High Note: First Andrzej Hiolski Competition. Hosted by Elżbieta Krajewska.
The 1st International Andrzej Hiolski international vocal competition takes place on August 20-23 at the mountain spa of Kudowa Zdrój, as part of the 50th jubilee International Stanisław Moniuszko Festival there.
The event is co-organised by the local Moniuszko Cultural Society and the Music Academy from Wrocław. I was talking to professor Piotr Łykowski, deputy dean of the vocal faculty and artistic director of the competition.
