The 18-year-old Pole beat the Puerto Rican world No. 59 in three sets, 0-6, 6-3, 6-3, in their third-round match in the French capital on Saturday.

Świątek, meanwhile, ousted 16th-seeded Qiang Wang of China 6-3, 6-0 in the second round of the Grand Slam tournament in Paris.

The Polish teenager, who is ranked world No. 104 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), posted a 6-3, 6-0 win against France's Selena Janicijevic in the first round on Tuesday.
