The Polish goal machine found the back of the net in the 29th and 85th minutes of the game, finishing the season with seven German Cup goals, more than any other player.

The 30-year-old, who also captains Poland’s national squad, was this month crowned the top scorer of Germany's Bundesliga premier league in the 2018/2019 season, his fourth such trophy since he began playing in Germany in 2010.

Bayern this season became Bundesliga champions for a seventh straight time, beating runner-up Borussia Dortmund by two points.

Lewandowski in March became the highest-scoring foreign player of all time in the Bundesliga.
