Defender Kamil Glik converted another header into a goal eight minutes later.

Poland opened their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign with a 1-0 away win against Austria on Thursday. They were top of their group after two rounds of games.

The Poles take on Macedonia in their next Euro 2020 qualifier on June 6.

Poland’s qualifying Group G also includes Israel and Slovenia.

Fifty-five European teams were in December drawn into a total of 10 qualifying groups, five groups of five teams and five six-team groups.

The Euro 2020 qualifiers will be played between March and November, with the top two teams from each group qualifying directly for the championships.

The Euro 2020 tournament will be held from June 12 to July 12, 2020 in 12 cities around Europe, with the final played at London's Wembley Stadium.
