The Pole on Saturday took the gold in the women’s 500 metres event at the European Short Track Speed Skating Championships in the Dutch city of Dordrecht.
Italy’s Martina Valcepina earned the silver, while the bronze went to Lara van Ruijven of the Netherlands.
After a series of strong finishes this season, Maliszewska leads the World Cup standings for the women’s 500 metres.
The Polish skater last month claimed bronze in the women’s 500 metres event at the short-track speed skating World Cup in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The Polish skater in November won the 500 metres at a World Cup stop in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The 23-year-old in early November became the first Polish short-track speed skater to ever win a World Cup event.
Maliszewska at the time set a national record of 42.587 seconds in the women’s 500 metres while competing in Calgary, Canada.
