Poland beat Iran at volleyball world championships

Poland defeated Iran 3-0 in their fourth match of the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championships in Varna, Bulgaria, on Monday.

Poland, the defending champions, have already secured a spot in the next round of the championships, which are being jointly hosted by Bulgaria and Italy.
The Polish team last week beat Finland 3-1, notched up a comfortable 3-0 win over Puerto Rico, and defeated Cuba 3-1 at the event.
The Poles, managed by Belgian coach Vital Heynen, were on Tuesday due to play Bulgaria in their last match of the first round of the championships.
The 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championships run until September 30, with the Final Six scheduled to be held in Turin, Italy.
The FIVB volleyball federation is the sport's international governing body.
