Poland’s Magda Linette has made it into the Round of 16 at the Jiangxi tennis open in Nanchang, China.

Linette on Tuesday beat South Korea’s Jang Su-jeong 6-4, 6-0.
The Pole, ranked no. 80 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), next takes on Japan’s Eri Hozumi. The pair play on Thursday for a place in the quarter-finals.
Linette is the only Pole left in the Nanchang tournament. She was supposed to take part in it two years ago, but withdrew after she qualified for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
