The lineup includes some fresh faces such as Sebastian Szymański and Szymon Żurkowski from Polish premier-league clubs, in addition to footballers playing abroad, among them star striker Robert Lewandowski from the German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich, the PAP news agency reported on Friday.

Nawałka is next week expected to whittle down the squad to 28 players whom he will take to the coastal resort of Jurata in the north of Poland for a battery-recharging stay at the local Bryza Hotel from May 21 to 26.

Meanwhile, the Arłamów Hotel in the heart of the picturesque Bieszczady mountains of southeastern Poland will be the official training base for the national squad ahead of the tournament in Russia.
