Winter Olympics 2018: Polish ski jumpers sail through qualifiers

Poland’s Kamil Stoch finished second and his countryman Dawid Kubacki came third in Thursday’s qualifiers for the men's normal hill ski jumping competition at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

Poland’s Stefan Hula and Maciej Kot also qualified, finishing ninth and 11th. Germany’s Andreas Wellinger finished first.
The Pyeongchang Games start on Friday, with the first ski jumping medals up for grabs a day later.
The men’s individual competition starts on Saturday at 1:35pm Polish time.
Polish officials have named ski jumping as the country's biggest chance for an Olympic medal in South Korea.
Poland is sending a contingent of 62 athletes to the Winter Games, which run until February 25.
