The pair beat Austria’s Oliver Marach and Croatia’s Mate Pavic 5-7, 7-5, 7-6, 3-6, 13-11 in a thrilling five-set final on Saturday.

The match lasted more than four-and-a-half hours and ended after 10 p.m. with Kubot’s signature celebratory “can-can” dance routine.

This marks Kubot’s first Wimbledon win and his second Grand Slam career title after his 2014 triumph in the Australian Open with Sweden’s Robert Lindstedt. (str/pk)
