Radwańska was scheduled to play Japan’s Misaki Doi in the first round of the tournament, which kicks off on Saturday.
She suffered an injury while training on Friday morning, Poland’s PAP news agency reported.
On Thursday evening Radwańska, ranked the world no. 8, crashed out of the Tie-Break Tens tournament in Madrid after losing in the semi-finals to Russia’s Svetlana Kuznetsova.
