The team from Poznań, in Poland's west, beat Arka Gdynia 4:1 on Friday in the league's 25th round.
The success came in spite of the team's star defenders sitting out for earlier infringements and the team's coach also being penalised and forced to watch the match from the stands.
Lech ended the first half of the match with a 3:0 lead. Early in the second half Arka managed to get the ball past Lech's goalie, but the Poznań team had the final say in the game, scoring for a fourth time in the 79th minute.
Lechia Gdańsk, which trails Lech by just one point on the Ekstraklasa leaderboard, will face off against Ruch Chorzów on Saturday. (vb)
