“Coach Adam Nawałka will certainly be looking for a few more new options before Euro 2016, he wants to see several new players,” Boniek told Polish Radio.
Up-and-coming players can be given a trial in friendlies this month against Serbia and Finland, followed by another pair in early June against Lithuania and the Netherlands, just before the tournament begins.
Boniek added that Nawałka has “bright and clear ideas about the forthcoming tournament.”
Poland's first EURO 2016 clash is scheduled for 12 June in Nice, against Northern Ireland. Other sides in Poland's Group C are Germany and Ukraine. (nh/pk)
