Poland slips down FIFA ranking

Poland’s national football team has fallen in the latest FIFA rankings to 33rd place from 30th.

Argentina remains the leader, while Belgium moved up from third to second place ahead of the Germans, the current world champions.
Of the countries Poland play in the qualifying rounds for Euro 2016, the highest rank goes to Germany (third place), Scotland 32nd place, Ireland 50th, Georgia 154th and Gibraltar unclassified.
Of the teams Poland play in the qualifiers for World Cup 2018 are Romania (seventh), Denmark 25th, Montenegro 77th, Armenia 88th and Kazakhstan 141st.
Holland fell out of the top ten, from fifth position to 12th. Surprisingly high is Albania, which recorded a jump of 14 positions to 22nd place. Serbia has fallen 23 positions to 66th. (jh/rk)
