Cyclist Niewiadoma takes silver in European Games

Katarzyna Niewiadoma took silver on Saturday in the Women's Road Race at the European Games in Azerbaijan.

Twenty-year-old Niewiadoma managed to complete the 120.7 km course in 3 hours 20 mins and 36 seconds.
Shortly after crossing the finishing line there were tears of joy from the silver medallist.
Meanwhile, fellow Pole Eugenia Bujak came in 9th, and Monika Brzeźna 13th.
Niewiadoma's medal is Poland's 11th of the games so far, and Poland is currently 16th in the medal table, with Russia the outright leader with 53 medals.
