Glik, who also plays for the Polish national side, has been on excellent form this season for his Turin-based club, scoring nine goals in spite of playing as a defender.
According to Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport, also based in Turin, Manchester United wants to bolster its defence, and Glik has emerged as the leading candidate.
Manchester's 'Red Devils' are reportedly not the only ones to be pursuing the Pole, with Tottenham Hotspur also keen.
It has been said in the past that Torino chairman Urbano Cairo will not let go of Captain Glik for less than EUR 15 million.
Last month, it was also rumoured that Polish captain and Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski is also being hunted by Manchester United. (nh)
