PM Ewa Kopacz promised sweeping changes to the country's tax, insurance and employment systems with the opposition adding to the list.

Among the pledges made six weeks before the general elections are the introduction of a flat personal income tax rate of 10 percent as well as minimum hourly wage, cutting contributions the National Health Fund, and plans for a single employment contract. "A list of expenditures is very long and if all of them happen it could turn Poland into another Greece" one expert told BALANCE.
