New business regulations in Poland cut red tape

The new regulations mean that the earlier obligations by budding entrepreneurs to present a number of documents, or apply for additional ones, have been waived. These include the NIP personal tax ID number, as well the REGON statistical number given to businesses upon registration.

In an attempt to cut red tape, one of the most significant changes to the regulations is the exchange of official certifications, obtained from state offices for personally signed declarations.

Offices will now accept copies, and not originals as previously demanded, of education diplomas, as well as from civil registry offices. (jb)
