Wages, employment up y/y in Poland in March: stats office

                    Average wages in Poland rose 5.7 percent in March compared with the same month last year, the country’s Central Statistical Office said on Wednesday.

                         The average gross Polish monthly wage in March was PLN 5,164.53 (EUR 1,209, USD 1,368), the office reported.
Meanwhile, employment in Polish companies increased 3 percent last month in year-on-year terms, according to the statistical office.
The figures are for firms with more than nine employees.
Poland’s finance ministry said on Tuesday it expected the economy to grow 4 percent this year, faster than anticipated in the country’s budget for 2019.
