The agency, which describes itself as Ireland's fastest growing online travel company, aims to attract at least 5,000 customers in Poland this year, the Puls Biznesu business newspaper reported.

The paper quoted Michał Głowa, country manager at Click & Go, as saying that Poland is the first foreign market for the Irish start-up.

“The Polish tourism market is developing dynamically,” Głowa said. “It is growing at one of the fastest rates in Europe.”

He added: “Forecasts for the next five to six years indicate that anywhere from 3 million to 6 million new potential customers will appear here.”

To begin with, the company plans to offer trips in Europe, focusing on short stays and city breaks, Puls Biznesu reported.
