Britain leaving the EU without an agreement with Brussels could severely hit Poland’s automotive sector, according to the Puls Biznesu daily.
Poland exports more car parts to the UK than any other Central and Eastern European country, the newspaper reported.
It said that decreased sales of cars in Britain, the second biggest automotive market in the EU, might lower demand for Polish car parts.
Poland imported EUR 800 million worth of automotive products from the UK in 2017, while exporting EUR 1.5 billion worth of products, according to the newspaper.
