Polish economy grows 5.1% in Q3 2018: flash estimate

The Polish economy grew 5.1 percent in the third quarter of this year, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Wednesday in a flash estimate.

Analysts surveyed by the PAP news agency had expected the economy to grow 4.7 percent year on year in the third quarter.
The Polish economy grew 5.1 percent in the second quarter.
The Central Statistical Office revised upwards its estimate of Polish GDP growth in the first quarter from 5.2 percent to 5.3 percent.
Poland's economy grew 4.9 percent in the final quarter of last year.
