Polish GDP to grow 4.8% in 2018, 3.7% in 2019: European Commission

The European Commission has raised its forecast for Polish GDP growth this year to 4.8 percent from a previous estimate of 4.6 percent.

The European Union’s executive maintained its projection that the Polish economy would expand by 3.7 percent in 2019.
The European Commission expects Poland's GDP to grow 3.3 percent in 2020.
According to the International Monetary Fund, Poland’s economy is likely to grow around 4.5 percent this year, followed by 3.5 percent next year.
The Polish economy grew 4.8 percent in 2017, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said last month, revising upward its previous estimate of 4.6 percent.
