Polish unemployment drops to new low

Unemployment in Poland stood at 5.8 percent in August, down 0.1 percentage points from a record low in July, the country's statistics office has said.

Officials heralded July’s jobless rate of 5.9 percent as the lowest in 28 years.
According to Poland’s Central Statistical Office, some 958,600 people were unemployed in August, down from 961,500 in July.
