In a previous projection in late March, the agency had forecast that the Polish economy would grow 4.3 percent in 2018 and 4 percent in 2019.

The Polish economy grew 5.1 percent in the second quarter of this year, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said in late August.

Moody's has revised downward its projection for Poland’s general government deficit this year to 1.4 percent of GDP from the 1.8 percent it forecast in March.

Moody's last Friday said it had not updated its rating for Poland, thus keeping it unchanged at A2 with a stable outlook.
