Polish conference focuses on future tech

Nearly 2,000 guests have descended on the southern Polish city of Katowice to debate eco-friendly transport and the technology of the future.

Smart urban planning and traffic management will also be discussed at a two-day conference entitled Impact Mobility rEVolution’18.
Hundreds of companies from Poland and around the world are taking part in the event, alongside government officials, scientists and experts.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki declared in December that tackling air pollution, which is estimated to kill some 50,000 people a year in the country, would be one of his government’s priorities.
