The reading was in line with a flash estimate issued by the statistical office earlier this month.

Polish GDP grew 5.2 percent in the first quarter of 2018, according to the office.

Poland's economy grew 4.9 percent in the final quarter of last year and expanded by 4.6 percent in 2017 as a whole.
