Finance gurus flock to Warsaw

Almost 800 financial experts from around the world have flocked to Warsaw to discuss a range of research challenges during an international academic event.

Topics up for debate at the 45th Annual Meeting of the European Finance Association include monetary policy, investment and new financial technology, according to organisers.
The event, which started in the Polish capital on Wednesday, runs until Saturday.
It is being hosted by the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) together with Imperial College London.
