Polish foreign minister visiting Sudan

Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will take part in the launch of a Polish-Sudanese Economic Forum during a visit to Khartoum on Saturday, officials have said.

Bilateral relations, including economic, cultural and scientific cooperation, as well as cooperation in the UN Security Council, will be the focus of Polish-Sudanese talks, the Polish foreign ministry said on its website.

Czaputowicz’s visit to Sudan “reaffirms Poland’s readiness to invigorate bilateral relations" with that country politically and economically, the foreign ministry in Warsaw added.
