More passengers using Warsaw’s Chopin Airport

The number of passengers using Warsaw’s Chopin Airport rose to around 8 million in the first half of this year, a jump of 14.8 percent compared to the same period in 2017, officials have said.

The airport said it had more than 7 million passengers travelling on international routes and 820,000 on domestic flights between the start of January and the end of June.
Chopin Airport is the largest in Poland. Last year it was used by 15.8 million passengers, up a hefty 23 percent on 2016, state news agency PAP reported.
The airport offers 123 scheduled flights to 52 countries, operated by 33 carriers. Including charter flights, passengers can fly to 178 destinations, according to PAP.
