Matches will be available to viewers on the broadcaster’s TVP 1, TVP 2 and TVP Sport channels.

This last channel will exclusively focus on the World Cup for several weeks and be made available free to viewers nationwide, according to TVP bosses.

Fans will also be able to watch matches online. "Everything will be available on both the Mundial2018.tvp.pl service and VOD,” TVP deputy CEO Maciej Stanecki said.

The Polish public broadcaster is sending a crew of 150 to Russia and readying a team of 40 commentators and experts to comment on matches from Warsaw.

According to TVP CEO Jacek Kurski, the 2018 World Cup is a major sporting event but also a technological challenge for the public broadcaster.

The World Cup kicks off on June 14 and runs until July 15. Poland take on Senegal, Colombia and Japan in the group stage of the tournament.

TVP is Poland’s only official broadcaster of the event in Russia.
