Economist Teresa Czerwińska was on Tuesday sworn in as Poland’s new finance minister.

Czerwińska, who previously served as a deputy finance minister, took her job amid a government reshuffle in Warsaw.
Until now Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki doubled as the country’s finance minister.
Czerwińska is a professor of economics and an expert on financial management, business risk and budgeting, according to the finance ministry.
