Meanwhile, 72 percent of companies are also preparing to increase wages, according to the study by recruitment company Hays Poland.

Employers in sectors such as engineering, manufacturing, logistics, business services, IT and construction are especially determined to hire new staff in 2018, Hays Poland said.

It surveyed more than 2,500 employers for the study.

According to Poland’s Rzeczpospolita daily, the main reason companies are looking for new staff is increased demand for their products and services resulting from a strong economy.
