The multinational finance company predicted the fall would be caused by a base effect in food and fuel prices.
It added that a rate hike it had previously forecast by the first quarter of 2018 could be expected later.
Inflation in Poland stood at 1.7 percent year on year in July, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said earlier this month.
Inflation stood at 1.5 percent year on year in June and at 1.9 percent in May.
The Polish government last week adopted a preliminary draft budget for 2018 which expects the economy to grow 3.8 percent, with inflation at 2.3 percent and unemployment at 6.4 percent.
