AUDIO - As Greece reels under widespread strikes and MPs in Athens debate new austerity measures, can Poland pass on its experience of battling with a financial debt crisis?

Tens of thousands of protestors lined the streets of the Greek capital, Wednesday, as another general strike was underway against the proposed austerity programme by the Socialist party government, as part of bail out agreements with the EU and IMF.
As Slawek Szefs reports, however, with Poland taking over the presidency of the EU Council on 1 July, Warsaw will be in a position to pass on its experience of battling with crippling public debt left over from the communist regime, which fell in 1989. (pg)
