Poles split over shape of country’s future: survey

Forty-six percent of Poles believe that their country is heading in the wrong direction, while 34 percent are of the opposite view, according to a new survey,

The number of those who view developments in a negative light has fallen 5 percentage points from a similar survey in April, while the number who believe the country is heading in the right direction has fallen 2 percentage points.
In the latest study, by pollster Kantar Public, 6 percent said that the economy was growing dynamically, and 46 percent said growth was slow.
Meanwhile, 31 percent said the economy was is in a mild crisis and 6 percent said it was in deep crisis.
Kantar Public carried out the study from 12 to 17 May on a representative sample of 1,047 Poles aged 15 or over.
