One in five Polish workers changed jobs in last six months: survey

One in five employees in Poland have changed their jobs in the last six months, according to a survey by the Randstad Research Institute.

Meanwhile, 73% of workers in Poland said they were satisfied with their job. That was higher than the average for Europe, 71%, and only a few percentage points behind Denmark, which came top in the survey with 79%.

The main reasons given for changing jobs in the past six months were better working conditions, a personal desire for change and changes in company structure.

Salary increases in the next six months are planned by 36% of companies, while 58% do not plan changes and 1% of firms expect that wages will fall, according to the survey.

The international survey, conducted in February and March, included 838 people polled online in Poland. The respondents were working at least 25 hours a week and aged between 18 and 65.
