The plans for PZU and its life insurance arm, PZU Zycie, include the changing of up to 3,000 contracts for employees, although the companies mention that a number of these people work part-time.

Redundancies are set to begin on 13 June and end on 10 October.

PZU’s restructuring aims at changing work conditions for 1,706 employees, who have a choice of whether to accept the changes or accept a redundancy package. 1,041 employees, however, are to leave the company. (jb)
