A contract with an investment value to the tune of 1.5 million dollars is set to be signed, taking in the repair of Polish F-16 aircraft, and the construction of a new hangar for the upkeep of the planes.

Sikorski has noted that the contract covers several other projects and is a “logical supplement,” to NATO's presence in Poland. NATO's Joint Force Training Centre is located in Bydgoszcz.

According to Sikorski, who posted informal updates on the social media website Twitter, he will be discussing Poland's forthcoming presidency of the European Union, the Middle East, Russia and the Libyan crisis.
