The company already invested over PLN 2 billion, and is now employing 4,500 Poles in three logistics centres in Poland.
Yet, Amazon now wants to offer stable job contracts to 1,500 Polish workers.
Kerry Person, the executive director of Amazon Poland said “there is great potential in Poland, and we want to expand our logistics network here, but the number of our logistic points depends on the growth rate.”
Person added that the situation looks very good, and the company in Poland is doing even better than expected.
Amazon entered the Polish market 18 months ago, but has already exceeded its three-year investment and employment plans. (tf/rg)
