Prices rose by 0.3% in October

The prices of goods and services, grew by 0.3 percent over the previous month, the National Bank of Poland statistics show.

This was the first time the growth accelerated in three months.
In September, the figure was 0.2 percent.
In the analysed period, the CPI index amounted to - 0.7 percent (y/y).
“The October CPI index, announced by the [Central Statistical office] GUS on 13 November 2015, amounted to -0.7 percent (y/y), whereas the flash estimates posted by GUS on 2 November envisaged the rate of CPI inflation to reach -0.8 percent,” the NBP said in a statement on Monday. (rg/rk)
